Electricity
Work on the electrical system is the sole province of authorised
personnel. Always follow the local safety regulations. The main
switch can be locked in “off” position with a pad lock to enhance
a “Lock out tag out” routine.
Incorrect handling of the electric system can cause injury or
death to persons or damage to the equipment.
Fire risk
The equipment contains inflammable gas, oil, refrigerants and
man made materials, e.g. plastics. Consequently, always take
safety measures to avoid fire or explosion in operations involv
-
ing heat generation and/or a naked flame.
Do not leave any combustible materials or sealed containers in
the baking/cooking chamber of the equipment unattended. This
could result in an explosion or fire within the equipment, which
could cause severe damage to the equipment.
In the event of a fire, avoid inhaling smoke. All smoke exposure
scenarios should be treated by a medical professional.
Natural gas hazard
Some equipment incorporates a natural gas hazard. All fault
finding and maintenance should only be carried out by person
-
nel with an appropriate recognised qualification.

ments and can only be carried out by competent personnel.
Refrigerants
Refrigerants are extremely hazardous if it leaks. Use only ap

proved equipment and wear suitable protective gear when work

ing with refrigerants. Always observe current regulations!
Steam
Steam is extremely hot and can be dangerous if it leaks. Make
sure the steam valves are shut off before performing work on
the equipment. Always observe current regulations!
Risk of squeezing
The equipment contains moving parts. Never undertake any
kind of work on parts that are moving.
Watch your fingers and wear suitable and recommended pro

tective clothing when working with the equipment.
Noise
Wear suitable and recommended protective hearing equipment
when working in high noise levels.
Hot surfaces
The equipment contains hot details and surfaces.
