Using splicing kit
The splicing kit could be ordered from Frigos-
candia Ecuipment, Art no 3000 28 Z.
Splice to cold cable
A. Remove the isulation of the overjacket
60 mm. Cut off the braid until its length is
10 mm, twist the braid and press the
2,5 mm connector together.
B. Remove the isulation and the secondary
isulation 30 mm. Cut the return wire until its
length is 10 mm, twist the return wire and
press the 1,5 mm² connector together.
C. Remove the red and thin transparent isula-
tion 6 mm, press the bottle-shaped connec-
tor together.
D. Slide the 12 mm shrink tube onto the heat-
ing cable.
E. Splice together the heating cable with the
connection cable, wrap silicon tape over the
bottle-shaped connector, at least 5 layers.
Also wrap 4 layers over any other case.
F. Wrap electrical tape over the whole splice to
make it even.
G. Center the shrink tube over the splice and
heat with a heat gun until the adhesive liner
melts.
Note!
Do not bend, twist, or pull the
splice.
