Assembling Blocking Device EloXT II
5.6.1
Fastening Blocking Device EloXT II
Take
2 screws M3 and tools suitable for drilling fastening points
for screws in the secure storage unit.
1.
Find a place inside the secure storage unit appropriate for the
extension unit. Consider the routing of the cables.
2.
Drill 2 fastening points for screws into the inner side of the secure storage unit
according to the dimensional data in the following illustration.

Loosen the screws at the front of unit EloXT II and remove the housing cover.
You can see the interior structure of unit EloXT II.
Caution
Exerting too much force may cause malfunction of the
lock.
Fasten the screws with a maximum torque of
5 Nm
.
4.
Put 2 screws through 2 holes at corners of the bottom of EloXT II and loosely
attach them with the fastening points you drilled.
5.
Check whether unit EloXT II is mounted tension-free.
6.
Keep the housing of EloXT II open during the following steps of the assembly in
order to be able to establish further functions.
You have fastened blocking device EloXT II successfully.
