Changing the Operating Unit FlatControl
Take
a hex key size 3.
Note
The menu keypad to be replaced is rendered
unusable as a measure of security. Make sure you
have a menu keypad (art.-no.10000391.001, dark
grey for light grey operating units or art.-
no.10014148.001, light grey for black operating
units) before changing the operating unit.
1.
Separate the system from the power supply. Remove the menu keypad from the
operating unit to be replaced so that the attachment screws can be seen beneath
it.
The menu keypad is rendered unusable.
2.
Unloose the 2 screws that were behind the menu keypad before, remove the
operating unit and remove the plugs of bus cables A and B form the sockets of the
printed circuit board of the operating unit that has been used before.
3.
Connect the bus cable with socket A on the circuit board of the new operating unit.
Make sure the plug connects properly.

Insert the two attachment screws into the proper apertures in the operating unit.
Caution
Exerting too much force may lead to causing damage to the
operating unit.
Fasten the screws with a maximal torque of
1 Nm
.
5.
Fasten screws at the fastening points.
