Monitor mode - Capnography

123

Capnography monitoring

To start the EtCO

measurement, navigate through the “Configuration Menu - CO

”

and set the “CO

- On/Off” item to ON.

Right after the start, the EtCO

module performs a procedure called “auto-

zero”, which is necessary for the proper functioning of the equipment.

During this procedure, no measurements are exerted.

The DualMax can monitor EtCO

in intubated or non-intubated patients. To do so,

you just need to change the following accessories.

Connect the following accessories

•

Intubated patient:

sampling line and “T” connector.

•

Non-intubated patient:

sampling line and nasal cannula.
