Connecting a USB Flash Drive

Connecting a USB Flash Drive

Before connecting, read “Before connecting a USB flash drive” (p. 11) carefully.

Inserting the drive

Insert the USB flash drive into the instrument’s USB flash drive 

connector.

 •Do not insert a USB flash drive that does not support the Mass 

Storage Class. 

 •Not all commercially available flash drives are supported.

 •If the instrument does not recognize a USB flash drive, try a different 

drive.

Removing the drive

Verify that the instrument is not accessing the USB flash drive (to 

output or load data, etc.) and then pull it out of the connector.

It is not necessary to perform any “eject” operation on the instrument.

Screen displays when using a USB flash drive

The 

USB

 icon will be displayed at the top right of the screen when a USB flash drive has been 

recognized by the instrument.

You can check the amount of available space on the USB flash drive as well as the drive’s capacity 

on the 

File

 screen.
