HEROS functions | User administration
Logging in a user for the first time
To log in as a user for the first time, you need to use the
Other
input
field.
Log on as a user with the
Other
option for the first time as follows:
Select
Other
in the login dialog
The control enlarges the user icon you selected.
Enter the user name
Enter the user's password
The control opens a window with the
Password expired
message.
Change the password now
.
Enter the current password
Enter a new password
Repeat the new password
The control uses the new user to log you in.
The user is shown in the login dialog.
Logging in a known user with password
To log in as a user who is displayed in the login dialog, proceed as
follows:
Select the respective user in the login dialog
The control enlarges the user icon you selected.
Enter the user password
The control uses the selected user to log you in.
The control shows in the Login dialog whether CAPS
LOCK is active.
Logging in a user with token
To log in as a user with a token, proceed as follows:
Hold the token close to the reader
Enter PIN, if required
The control uses the selected user to log you in.
Remove the token from the reader
