Safety instructions

This chapter summarises the safety instructions relevant for the maintenance

work.

Danger

Risk of injury and risk of damage!

Opening or disassembling the

MAPLA system

puts the system at risk and compromises the

safety of the user.

►

Do not open or dismantle the

MAPLA system!

►

The

MAPLA system may only be opened by the

manufacturer or a party authorised by it.

►

Only carry out the work described in this manual.

Danger

Danger to life through electric shock

During operation, the power generation system generates

voltages that are potentially fatal.

►

Work on the electrical installations and equipment must

only be carried out after the system has been switched off

and is de-energised.

►

Switch off the drive unit before all inspection or

maintenance work on the generator or switch box. Prevent

the drive unit from being switched back on by accident

(e.g. remove the ignition key and keep somewhere safe).
