A1.5 Current transducers (CT or TA)
The armature current of the motor is measured by two AC current transducers inserted on the line side of the
power bridge; see, for example, ("Figure 9.4.4: ESE5771 TPD32-EV-CU-230...690-THY1-XX_1" on page 425).
Transducers with different primary/secondary current ratios are available on the market and can be used with
the CU. The TPD32-.. series uses a CT with standard current values of 0.4 A or 0.5 A on the secondary winding.
We recommend the use of current transducers with a secondary current of not more than 1 A.
