7.11 ROUTING (ROUTE)
It sets the information about the router address in the network and about the network con-
nection, when a router is used for connection to another network.

Format (A07 or Earlier)
Dst Addr [Host Name] [Host IP],[Seg Size],[Win Size],[Delay Timer],[Rate]
“ ” denotes a space.

Dst Addr (transfer destination IP address)
An IP address of a transfer destination. For the IP address of the transfer destination, a
transfer destination address of an individual host or a transfer destination network address
should be set. When the transfer destination network address is set, the host number portion
of the IP address should be set to “0”.

Host Name (name of router)
It may be omitted when “Host IP (IP address of router)” is set.

Host IP (IP address of router)
“Host IP” may be omitted when “Host Name” that is set in the “HOST” file is set.
●
Seg Size (TCP segment size)
The TCP segment size is set in bytes. “Seg Size” may be omitted.
●
Win Size (TCP window size)
The TCP window size is set in bytes. “Win Size” may be omitted.
●
Delay Timer (TCP ACK delay timer)
The TCP ACK delay timer value is set in multiples of the reference value. “Delay Timer” may
be omitted.
●
Rate (transfer rate)
The overall transfer rate, up to the destination including any router, is set in bytes/sec. “Rate”
may be omitted.

Dst-Addr | Dst-Network-Addr (destination IP address or destination network
IP address)
Either the destination IP address or the destination network IP address is set.

Router-Name | Router-Addr (router name or router IP address)
Either the “Host Name” of the router or the IP address of the router is set.
