Osaifu-Keitai/ToruCa
Hold up the Osaifu-Keitai to a
reading device (reader/writer)
to obtain a ToruCa card.

Once you download the Osaifu-Keitai-compatible i- α ppli, you can
deposit e-money to IC card inserted in the FOMA terminal or look up
the balance or purchase history. Furthermore, the i-
α ppli for “DCMX”
credit service provided by DoCoMo is preinstalled, making your
mobile phone an increasingly handy tool in real life by providing a
feature known as “Osaifu-Keitai”. The “iC transfer service” is also
supported which allows you to easily transfer data stored on the
IC card to another one in a case such as when replacing a mobile
phone with a new model (P.200).

ToruCa can be obtained from a reading device (reader/writer) or site.
ToruCa is an e-card that can be obtained using Osaifu-Keitai and
easily exchanged by way of e-mail or infrared communication (P.201).
Playing Music
You can use the MUSIC Player to play back Chaku-Uta Full ® downloaded from an i-mode site.
You can also play back music data that was saved from a PC in the microSD memory card
inserted in the FOMA terminal using SonicStage (P.254).

TV
You can watch One Seg that is the Terrestrial digital TV broadcasting designed for mobile
devices. You can record a TV program while watching it or set a timer for watching/recording a
TV program as well. Also, you can use convenient functions such as Time shift that allows you to
pause a TV program temporarily and start watching it again from the point you paused, Chasing
Playback that allows you to playback a TV program while recording it, and Rapid play with sound
that allows you to play back a recorded video at about 1.3x speed (P.206).
