Recommended lubricating oils

approved. They are designated as Alfa Laval
lubricating oil groups A and D. The numerical
value after the letter states the viscosity grade.

Note:
•
When the separator is operated for short
periods, lubricating oil must be changed
every 12 months even if the total number
of operating hours is less than stated in the
recommendations above.
•
Check and prelubricate spindle bearings on
separators which have been out of service for 6
months or longer.
•
In seasonal operation, change oil before every
operating period.
