Alarm Analysis
Link Down
: Indicates that the fibre channel connection is down. The
fibre channel connection is down if there is a local or a remote fault
condition including LOS, loss of code-group synchronization, and PSP
failure (when enabled).
Local Fault
(FC 10x): Indicates that at least one of the following events
is detected:
LOS
,
Loss of bit synchronization
,
Loss of Block
synchronization
,
Link down
, or
High BER
(High BER is true when the
bit error ratio > 10

Remote Fault
(FC 10x): Indicates that a Remote Fault event is
detected.
