Remedy
The number of layers does
not correspond to the presets!
In the active parameter set, a
fixed number of layers has
been set. This fixed number
may never be exceeded, it
may only fall below.
Layer may be missing for the
following reasons:
-
Marginally acceptable
parameters have been set
so that one or more
echoes will not be
processed.
-
Coupling performance is
bad.
Double-check my means of
the A-scan image. Avoid
marginally acceptable
parameter settings.
Make sure a good coupling
performance is given.
Check clock settings.
If you insert batteries at initial
use or if the gauge has been
cut from power supply for
more than one minute, clock
settings (date and time) will
be wrong.
Readjust date and time (see
15.6.3).
“Low Bat !!!”
Though you can continue to
measure, it is recommended
to change batteries. If battery
voltage is below minimum,
the gauge will switch off
automatically.
Change batteries. Dispose
batteries or storage batteries
according to your local
regulations.
Modification lock active !
If the modification lock is
active, no changes can be
made to the gauge
configuration or to batches.
Measurements, however, can
be taken.
Undo the modification lock.
Go to main menu/ setup /
user preferences,
modification lock and unlock.
The password must contain
at least 3 characters!
The password is too short. 3
characters required at
minimum.
Change password
accordingly.
A directory cannot be
displaced.
Only elements such as
batches, parameter sets in
the data tree can be moved.
None.
