14 Data Output / Data Transfer
QuintSonic 7 is equipped with two data ports:

Infrared (IrDA

Readings and statistics of a batch can be transferred to a PC or printed-out on the data printer
MiniPrint 7000 (optional accessory).
14.1 Data print-out
Data transfer of readings and statistics to the data printer MiniPrint 7000 is made via the IR
interface (IrDA
®
1.0). Before print-out, make sure to adjust the gauge to IrDA
®
“. From Main Menu
go to “Setup” and select “Data Output”. Set to “Infrared (IrDA
®
)“ See also section 15.6.4.1.
Readings and statistics can be printed out from the statistics screens
“Numerical Statistics”, “Histogram” and “Readings”.
Press function key “Help/Extra” from any of these screens.
Select “Print” and press OK to confirm.
The “Printing Sequence“ window will open.
Select and adjust items 1 to 9 according as required. The sequence is
also user-adjustable (so, for instance, you can adjust two points only
such as “Statistics” and “Readings” only, as shown on Example #2).
Example # 1
The following options are available:
1. Company logo (either ElektroPhysik (gauge manufacturer) or
your own company logo. To include 160 x 80 pixel graphics
format ask for additional software option, not available at
present)
2. Name of batch / name of batch + date
3. Operator
4. Statistics (number of readings, average (
x
), standard deviation
(s), minimum, maximum, variation coefficient).
