15.5.3 Configuration
This screen includes a summary of parameters that can be called up or
set before acquisition of readings.
The measure mode can be set to “Single readings” or “manual”.
In the single readings mode, a reading is taken and stored to your
batch automatically each time the sensor is put onto the measuring
object and the sensor sleeve pressed down. A magnetic switch will
launch measurement. This is the default setting. For difficult
applications, however, it may be of advantage to switch to the manual
mode. In this mode, you can first position the sensor as requested
without measurement being launched automatically. Once the optimal
sensor position has been found, press OK to launch measurement.
The “Block size” parameter can be used for the so-called block value
statistics.
The “Graphics” parameter is used for switching between the two
display modes “numerical” or “graphical” (see section 4.1.2 and 4.1.3).
If “Graphics” is “ON”, display of readings will be in numerical and
geometrical form, if it is “OFF”, the large-sized numerical display will be
enabled.
If you select ”Sensor reference measurement” and confirm by OK, a
reference measurement will be launched (see section 6.4.1).
Note:
From measure mode, the configuration menu can also be called up by
pressing the fu
nction key “Configuration”.
