USER MANUAL – Release 1.2 of 01/01/2010
Version: 02/03/2010
The status of the solar panels water pump depends on the value of two probes:
•
NTC
domestic hot water temperature probe n. 1
•
Solar panels
NTC
temperature probe
If the temperature detected by the solar panels probe is higher than that detected by the domestic hot water
probe n. 1, the management of the solar panels pump is enabled according to the following logic:
•
if the temperature detected by the domestic hot water probe n. 1 is less than FS22 - FS23, then the
solar panels pump is started.
•
if the temperature detected by the domestic hot water probe n. 1 is greater or equal to FS22, then
the solar panels pump is switched-off.
With the pump off, the “ON/OFF enabling/exclusion solar coil valve ” output is activated. The water no longer
circulates in the solar coil inside the cylinder and remains at a standstill inside the solar panels, where an
appropriate expansion vessel manages the pressure variation depending on the temperature.
53.5
DOMESTIC HOT WATER FLOW SWITCH AND SOLAR PANELS MANAGEMENT
The signal times or output times from the flow switch alarm are the same as the utilities flow switch
(evaporator pump).
Whenever the domestic hot water flow switch alarm should intervene, the domestic hot water function will be
disabled and the controller will perform the normal cooling/heating temperature control.
The solar panels flow switch alarm leads to the switch-off of the solar panels pump.
53.6
PRODUCTION OF DOMESTIC HOT WATER WITH AIR/WATER UNIT,
WATER/WATER IN HEATING AND COMMON RETURN MODE: CF01=1,2 - CF02=3 -
FS01=1
53.6.1 DOMESTIC HOT WATER DURING WORKING IN WINTER MODE
Whenever there is a domestic hot water request, first the circulation pump is activated for the domestic hot
water and then, with delay FS26, output 1 is activated for the production of domestic hot water. When the
delay time FS10 has passed, the output 2 is deactivated for the production of domestic hot water and
temperature control will be carried out according to the layout on the previous pages. This working mode is
kept until the FS03 set is reached.
Once the domestic hot water set has been reached, output 2 is activated for the production of domestic hot
water and, after the delay FS10 output 1 is deactivated for the production of domestic hot water. When the
delay FS27 has passed, the circulation pump for domestic hot water is deactivated
and classic temperature
control takes place on the water of the utilities circuit.
In the case of air-water unit, ventilation is managed normally depending on the evaporation pressure.
53.6.2 DOMESTIC HOT WATER IN SUMMER CYCLE (ONLY UNITS WITH CF02=3)
Whenever there is a request for the production of domestic hot water during regulation in cooling mode, the
cycle is reversed, proceeding as follows:
•
The compressors are switched-off
•
After the delay dF07/2 the status of the 4-way valve is inverted
•
After the delay dF07/2 the compressors are switched back on
•
When the delay FS11 has passed on the expiry of dF07, the circulation pump for domestic hot water
is activated and, with delay FS26, output 1 is activated for the production of domestic hot water.
•
After the delay FS10, the output 2 is deactivated for the production of domestic hot water.
Temperature control will be carried out according to the previous layout shown and this working will be
continued until the set FS03 is reached.
Once the set-point has been reached, the production of domestic hot water will cease and the summer
working mode will be restored, managed in the following mode:
•
The compressors are switched off and output 2 is activated for the production of domestic hot water
•
After the delay FS10, the output 1 is deactivated for the production of domestic hot water
•
After the delay FS27, the circulation pump for the domestic hot water is deactivated
•
With delay dF08/2
from compressors switch-off
the status of the reverse valve is reversed.
At this point, if there is a request from heat regulator, the compressors activate normally after dF08/2 from
the reverse of the valve.
