HOW TO CONFIGURE THE INPUTS AND OUTPUTS (FILE IO.CONF)
To configure the digital inputs/outputs and analogue inputs/outputs it is necessary to generate a file called
io.conf; This file is already available with default values.
The file structure is thus composed:
•
For the digital inputs:
The meaning of this structure is:
DI01=c10 means that the digital input DI01 is configured as
“Circuit n°1 high pressure pressure switch” and the input is active when the
relevant contact is closed (c).
If the input is to be managed by open contact, just
replace the "c" with "o" (open); for example DI07=o3.
Refer to table "4.2" for the configuration of the inputs.
For the digital outputs:
The meaning of this structure is:
RL01=c76 means that the digital output RL01 is configured as
“Compressor 1 relay direct start-up” and the output is activated by closing
the contact (c), which is therefore open when the output is not active.
If the output is to be managed by open contact, just
replace the "c" with "o" (open); for example RL03=o84.
Refer to table "4.3" for the configuration of the outputs.
For the analogue outputs:
The meaning of this structure is:
AO01=1 means that the analogue output AO01 is configured as
"Circuit 1 condensation control 0-10V proportional output".
Refer to table "4.4" for the configuration of the outputs.
The analogue outputs can be configured also as digital outputs. The configuration in this case follows the
same rules used for digital outputs. For example AO01=c76 means that the analogue output AO01 is
configured as “Compressor 1 relay direct start-up” and is active due to closed contact.
For the analogue inputs:
The meaning of this structure is:
AI01=17 means that the digital input AI01 is configured as
"Compressor n° 1 PTC discharge temperature probe"
Refer to table "4.1" for the configuration of the inputs.
The following values can also be defined for the analogue inputs:
o
Offset
o
Minimum value of the input
o
Maximum value of the input
The offsets are defined as AI01o,AIO2o, AI03o, ….
The minimum values if the inputs are defined as AI01s, AI02s, AI03s,….
The maximum values if the inputs are defined as AI01g, AI02g, AI03g,….
For example, in case the analogue input AI01 is a 4-20mA pressure transducer
with 0-30 Bar excursion, the parameters must be set in the following way:
AI01=52 (Circuit n°1 condensing pressure probe)
AI01s=0 (at 4mA consider 0 Bar)
AI01g=300 (at 20mA consider 30 Bar – in tenths of Bar)
