USER MANUAL – Release 1.2 of 01/01/2010
Version: 02/03/2010
Circuit n° configured with more than one power step (e.g. circuit configured with 3 compressors).
When the time set in the par. rC04= minimum working time in heat recovery mode has passed, the insertion
of other steps is prevented for the time cR02 if the recovery request expires. The recovery valve is
deactivated when the time set in the Par. rC02= step forced deactivation time has passed. After the recovery
valve has been deactivated on expiry of the time set in the Par. rC03 = step forced deactivation time. If
temperature control requests, power steps can be inserted after deactivation of the recovery valve.
ENTRY INTO HEAT RECOVERY MODE OF THE CIRCUITS WITH ALL CIRCUIT POWER STEPS
ACTIVATED
If there is 100% working situation in the circuit (e.g. circuit configured with 3 compressors and all 3 on) with
heat recovery request from digital input, a power step is deactivated for time rC02 on the basis of rotation
before activating the relay output configured as recovery valve. When the time set in Par. rC02= step forced
deactivation time has passed, the heat recovery valve is activated. After the recovery valve has been
activated on expiry of the time set in the Par. rC03 = step forced deactivation time. If temperature control
requests, the previously-deactivated power step can be re-activated, after activation of the recovery valve.
EXIT FROM HEAT RECOVERY MODE OF THE CIRCUITS WITH ALL CIRCUIT POWER STEPS
ACTIVATED
When the time set in the par. rC04= minimum working time in heat recovery mode, has passed, if the
recovery request expires and there is 100% working in the circuit (e.g. circuit configured with 3 compressors
and all 3 on), a power step is deactivated for time rC02, on the basis of rotation before deactivating the
recovery valve. When the time set in Par. rC02 ? step forced deactivation time has passed, the recovery
valve is deactivated. When the time set in rC03 ) step forced deactivation time after rotation of the recovery
valve has passed, if the temperature control requests, the previously-deactivated power step is re-activated.
WARNING:
In all circuits with compressors off due to heat adjustment, the recovery valve output is deactivated even if
the heat recovery request from digital input is active.
51.2 UNIT WITH TWO PARALLEL HYDRAULIC CIRCUITS
WORKING
Par.
rC01
= 2 units with parallel hydraulic circuits:
The logic of the request is modified. In this case the digital inputs become heat recovery request steps.
UNIT WITH A CIRCUIT ON
Heat recovery function enabled, unit enabled in cooling working mode with one circuit on. If the condensation
temperature/pressure conditions allow entry is allowed into heat recovery working mode in that circuit if one
of the digital inputs configured as circuit n° heat recovery request is active. With digital input active, the relay
output configured as heat recovery valve of circuit on.
UNIT WITH MORE THAN ONE CIRCUIT ON
Heat recovery function enabled, unit enabled in cooling working mode with several circuits on. If the
condensation temperature/pressure conditions allow entry is allowed into heat recovery working mode in
circuit n° 1 if the digital input configured as circuit n° 1 heat recovery request is active. Entry into heat
recovery working mode in circuit n° 2 is obtained if the digital input configured as circuit n° 2 heat recovery
request is active. With circuit n° 1 heat recovery digital input request active, the relay output configured as
circuit n° 1 recovery valve is activated, With circuit n° 2 heat recovery request digital input active the relay
output configured as circuit n° 2 recovery valve is activated.
When the unit enters heat recovery mode as requested by the digital input, the heat recover mode status
(even if the digital input request expires) is maintained for a minimum time set in the par. rC04 = minimum
working time in heat recovery mode.
When the digital input request expires and the unit leaves the heat recovery mode, if the digital input request
occurs again it is not satisfied for the time set in the Par. rC05 = minimum delay between end of heat
recovery and next heat recovery.
