FLOW SWITCH ALARM NOTES
PA1 / PA17=0
No water pump
The alarm is only managed if a digital input configured as flow switch
always has automatic reset.
PA1 / PA17=1
Water pump with continuous working.
The alarm is only managed if a digital input is configured as flow switch,
it always has automatic reset with
unit in stand-by or OFF remote (pump off),
it becomes
manual reset
after the AL16 number of
interventions per hour
(only in cooling or heating mode)
With unit in request mode and
working, if a flow switch alarm
intervenes. The blocked loads are described in the table. The water pump follows its regulation and switches
off. It is blocked on reaching AL16 interventions per hour.
PA1 / PA17=2
water pump function on compressor call
The alarm is only managed if a digital input is configured as flow switch,
it always has automatic reset with
unit in stand-by or OFF remote (pump off),
it becomes
manual reset
after the AL16 number of
interventions per hour.
With unit in request mode, if a flow switch alarm intervenes. The blocked loads are
described in the table. The water pump follows its regulation and switches off. It is blocked on reaching AL16
interventions per hour.
FLOW SWITCH ALARM MANUAL RESET
On reaching the number of AL16 interventions, enter the functions menu (reset procedure in functions
menu). The signal
DOES NOT DISAPPEAR
if the alarm is still active. If managed, the water pump can start-
up and the alarm is by-passed for AL18 allowing the regular start-up of the unit if the alarm returns in this
interval of time.
AL15
Flow switch alarm delay due to pump activation
It allows to set a delay in recognising the flow switch alarm from start-up of the water pump. Allows the flow
rate to run in normal working conditions.
AL16
Maximum number of flow switch interventions per hour
Determines a maximum number of flow switch alarm interventions, exceeding which the alarm paases from
automatic reset to manual reset. The water pump is blocked with the manual reset flow switch alarm.
WARNING
With air/water water/water unit configuration CF01=1,2 it is not possible to position the number of
interventions lower than 1.
AL18
Flow switch input active duration
Allows to set a time during which the flow switch alarm must remain active. The alarm is signalled after this
time. The count starts-after the
AL16
time. It allows to filter any flow rate drops or the presence of air
bubbles in the water circuit.
AL19
Flow switch input not active duration
Allows to set a time during which the flow switch alarm must remain inactive. After this time the alarm is reset
if it has automatic reset and can be reset if it has manual reset.
