USER MANUAL – Release 1.2 of 01/01/2010
Version: 02/03/2010
WARNING
It is not possible to command the circuit n° 1 heaters relay output with the circuit n° 2 condenser water outlet
probe and vice versa, the same for the remaining circuits.
47.8 TEMPERATURE CONTROL OF THE BOILER HEATERS (ANTI-FREEZE) BOILER FUNCTION
Check electric heaters in cooling heating working mode.
As well as being used as anti-freeze heaters they can also be used as integration/heating with the heating or
for particular uses in cooling working mode.
UNIT SET-POINT CHOICE
Ar16 = 0 the set is ST04 and the differential ST08
Ar16 = 1 the set is Ar17 and the differential Ar18
Ar16 = 2 the value set in the parameter Ar17 is added to the set-point ST04 and the value of the differential
set in Par. Ar18 is used
WARNING
: for any Ar16 value, the set-point and the differential value can be modified by the Energy saving
and dynamic set-point functions.
The function is enabled if:
1. a probe is configures as boiler function/external air temperature NTC probe
2. the Ar12 parameter is different to zero
CONTROL IN INTEGRATION MODE AR12 = 1
Enabling of the boiler function
In working mode when the air temperature measured by the probe (external air temperature) drops below
Ar13 external set-point values, the Ar15 delay count starts. If during the Ar15 time count the external air
temperature rises above the value set in par. Ar13 the function is annulled and the Ar15 time is reloaded.
If after Ar15 time, the external air temperature remains below the Ar13 set-point and the temperature of the
water detected by the temperature control probe in heating mode is lower than the
work set-point
the
heaters are inserted. The heaters are switched off on reaching the
work set-point
+
work differential
.
During working with heater active, if the external air temperature exceeds the Ar13 set + the Ar14 differential
value, the heaters are switched-off and the Ar15 time is re-loaded.
With the boiler function inserted (external air temperature < Ar13), if the external air temperature drops below
that set in Ar19, the compressors are switched off. The compressors are re-started if the external air
temperature returns above the Ar19 set + the Ar20 differential.
CONTROL IN HEATING MODE AR12 = 2
Enabling of the boiler function
In working mode when the air temperature measured by the probe (external air temperature) drops below
Ar13 external set-point values, the Ar15 delay count starts. If during the Ar15 time count the external air
temperature rises above the value set in par. Ar13 the function is annulled and the time Ar15 is reloaded.
If after Ar15 time, the external air temperature remains below the Ar13 set-point and the temperature of the
water detected by the temperature control probe in heating mode is lower than the
work set-point
the
heaters are inserted and the compressor/s and the condensation fan/s are switched-off. Heating takes place
via the heaters. The heaters are switched off on reaching the
work set-point
+
work differential
. During
working with the heater active, if the temperature of the external air exceeds the Ar13 set + the Ar14
differential value, the heaters are switched-off and the compressor/s and the fan/s are switched back on
(respecting delay times) and the Ar15 time is reloaded.
