ES601pc Software

Datrend Systems ES601pc software provides a communication utility for ES601

Plus

 and allows the

user to configure Safety AutoSequences, electrocardiogram (ECG) AutoSequences, Test Reports,
General Inspections, Tester AutoSequences and Test Procedures of ES601

Plus

 Safety Analyzer.

The first three of these utilities are standard features of the ES601pc software and will be available
for use immediately upon installation. The remaining utilities are optional and may be installed at
any time after installation of the main ES601pc software application. These optional utilities are
referred to as modules or plug-ins within this manual.

8.1 Installation

To install ES601pc to your computer, place the ES601pc USB thumbdrive into your computer’s
USB port. Select the ES601 product and install the ES601pc software. 

In the event the installation program does not start automatically, use the file explorer utility on your
computer to locate the USB drive. Browse this drive to locate the file called

ES601pc

<version_no>

_Setup.exe

, where 

<version_no>

 is the 4-digit version number of the software.

Double-click or otherwise execute this file and the installer will guide you through the installation
process. We recommend all default installation locations be left intact so future upgrades and
enhancements will run smoothly.

At the end of the short installation process, you will be presented with a notification the software
has been installed, at which time you may either select or deselect the checkbox which asks if you
would like to run ES601pc upon closing the dialogue box. The computer does not have to be
restarted before running ES601pc.
