Safety AutoSequences can be programmed as desired by means of System Settings Menu #2 (see
Section 3.6). Alternatively, Safety AutoSequences can be edited and uploaded to ES601
Plus
by
means of the Safety Autosequence plug-in of the ES601pc software package. ES601pc is described
fully in Chapter 8.
Selecting SAFETY AUTOSEQUENCE from the AUTOSEQUENCE MODE menu of
ES601
Plus
opens the Safety AutoSequence menu.
Twenty-four Safety AutoSequences are listed across four menu screens. Default AutoSequences
delivered with the analyzer provide a number of examples for several safety standards (IEC; AAMI;
VDE). Scroll through these screens using the
PREVIOUS
or
NEXT
buttons to locate the desired
Safety AutoSequence. Select the Safety AutoSequence by pressing the button to the left of the
sequence's title.
ESCAPE
returns to the AUTO MODE main menu.
Upon selecting the desired test, you will be presented with various menus that will allow you to
modify the settings of the AutoSequence before the test is started. These displays will be similar to
menus described in detail in Sections 3.3 and 5.10 of this manual. Any changes made to
AutoSequence settings will remain in effect for the duration of the test, then will revert to the
AutoSequence setup stored in memory when the test is completed. If setting changes are necessary
for more than one test, you should consider programming and saving such changes by means of the
AutoSequence editor described in Section 3.6.
The first menu presented after selecting the AutoSequence will be instructions for connecting the
DUT to ES601
Plus
. On this and any setup menu which follows, the
ESCAPE
key may be pressed
to abort the test and return to the AUTO MODE menu. Alternatively,
CONTINUE
may be
pressed to advance the sequence to the next setup menu.
