6.2.5.8 The D Instruction
The D Instruction can be used to provide timed delays in Tester AutoSequences and Test
Procedures (
Fig u re 78 ). The delay of the Instruction may range from 1 to 32000 seconds. The
instruction also provides a prompt which is displayed on the LCD as the "TASK" while the timer
counts down.

Plus
will automatically advance to the next step of the sequence when the timer reaches zero
count. In this case, an "OK" is saved as the test result for the delay step. Alternatively, the user may
press
SKIP
to bypass any remaining delay. The
BACK
button decrements ES601
Plus
sequencer to
the previous step.
