Elevator
The two parallel elevator chains may need occasional adjustment to remove excessive free play due to
the chain stretching.
To adjust, loosen the two bolts on both tensioning plates on the sides of the elevator and the jam nut on
the tensioning bolt. Tighten or loosen the adjusting bolts to obtain minimal free play in both chains.

NOTE:
The adjusting screws should be rotated the same amount to eliminate the possibility of
chain damage or binding and to keep the pin shovels level.
