2.5.6 Zoom functions with activated cursor
During spectrum acquisition and after a spectrum has been
measured.
•
Information about individual spectral lines can be displayed
with the cursor and
•
The X- and Y-axes can be zoomed.
Cursor
With the cursor (cursor buttons , ) information (amplitude
and frequency) about the individual spectral lines is displayed.
Using the cursor, information about the frequency is depend-
ent on the selected zoom factor of the X-axis.
The larger the zoom factor, the more accurate the frequency
information.
Switching on the cursor display
By pushing the cursor button ,or once, the cursor display
is switched on.
Thereafter the cursor can be moved across the spectrum using
the cursor buttons , .
Cursor
Cursor shifted
The spectrum is displayed in the form of a number of lines. This
means that each calculated line of the spectrum is displayed on
the X-axis as far as the resolution of the display allows. The
cursor, which is controllable along the X-axis, can be positioned
on any displayed frequency line in the spectrum.
