PC-CARD
During the test data is written to the PC-card and then deleted
after the test is ended. The test of the PC-card is only executed
when the following criteria are met:
•
The maximum number of stored Routes (5) and Reports
(1000) should not have been reached.
•
No entries on the PC-card may have the status »Write-
protected«.
•
The available storage space must be enough to
accommodate the test data.
•
The card must be correctly formatted.
Caution
It is mandatory to note and to follow the instruction, that only 32
MB PC cards AC-603/32 shall be used. These PC cards shall
be ONLY formated in the VIBROTEST 60 and NOT in the PC-
card drive! To guarentee the functionality the PC card formating
has to be performed in the VIBROTEST 60 according to the
instructions described in section 4.10.
Flash ROM
The Flash ROM contains the current Setup, the calibration
values and the Upgrade code. If during the test a fault is found
a fault-free operation of the VIBROTEST 60 can no longer be
guaranteed. In this case the instru-ment should be checked out
at the Brüel & Kjær Vibro factory or an authorised Brüel & Kjær
Vibro service station.
RAM
The RAM is used as a working memory and temporary inter-
mediate memory. The result of the test is displayed by the
operational status LEDs.

Note:
The contents of the RAM are deleted during the test. After the
test is over the VIBROTEST 60 must be switched off and then
on again. The duration of the test is approx. 2 minutes.
