PC-cards - Handling and action
All information such as Routes, Reports and measurements are
stored by the VIBROTEST 60 on a PC-card.
„Only PC-cards of the type AC-603 are recommended for
use with the VIBROTEST 60.“
Changing the PC-card

Switch the instrument off (ON button)
•
Remove the battery set cover
•
Push the card ejector
•
Remove the PC-card.
Caution:
When inserting a card make sure that the label faces up and
the card is inserted in the direction of the arrow on the label.
Never use excessive force to insert or remove a card!
Caution
It is mandatory to note and to follow the instruction, that only 32
MB PC cards AC-603/32 shall be used. These PC cards shall
be ONLY formated in the VIBROTEST 60 and NOT in the PC-
card drive! To guarentee the functionality the PC card formating
has to be performed in the VIBROTEST 60 according to the
instructions described in section 4.10.
File structure
The PC-card is read simply as another storage medium and in
the ideal case possesses a sub-directory with the name
„VTCRD„. The archived data is laid in various files in this sub-
directory in an internal format.
Behaviour of the PC-card under an uncontrolled System condition
If the PC-card is removed from the VIBROTEST 60 while its
contents are being accessed, or an uncontrolled system
condition occurs during operation of the VIBROTEST 60 the
filing system will be regulated via a built-in mechanism. This
means the data on the card can still be read but data cannot be
written. This guarantees that all data stored on the card up to
the time of the mistake will be retained.
