8-3 Removing and installing Assys and parts
8-3-1 Projector Tower Assy
(1) Replacing the LED Board - To be conducted by a technician only -

To protect the service staff and other people from electric shock, accident and
injury and to prevent damage to the electric circuitry of the machine, be sure
to turn off the power switch before initiating the described task.
Turn off the power switch.
Remove the three Torx bolts (M5 x 16) and two Torx bolts (M4 x 16), then dismount
the front plate door.

To prevent damage to electrical circuits due to incorrect connector connection,
check the direction of the connector carefully when connecting.

The LED Board can be easily damaged by static electricity. If the LED Board is
handled by a person charged with static electricity, parts mounted on the LED
Board can become damaged. Before touching the LED Board, be sure to remove
static electricity from you body by touching a grounded metal
