8.MAINTENANCE
8-3-5 Pedal Assy
(1) Replacing the photosensor - To be conducted by a technician only -
To protect the service staff and other people from electric shock, accident and
injury and to prevent damage to the electric circuitry of the machine, be sure
to turn off the power switch before initiating the described task.
To prevent damage to electrical circuits due to incorrect connector connection,
check the direction and shape of the connector carefully when connecting.
Be careful not to allow grease or dust to get on the photosensor.
Turn off the power switch.
After confirming that the power switch is OFF, dismount the Pedal Assy from the
Control Assy. (See P. 71 “8-1-2 (1) Supplying grease to the plungers in the Pedal
Assys.”)
Remove the four flange socket bolts (M6 x 12) and dismount the housing.
Remove the four Torx bolts (M5 x 12) and dismount the cover.
