(4) Special weapons
When the player’s points reach a certain level, the player’s weapon automatically changes
from the machine gun to a different weapon. When this weapon change occurs, a new
weapon is shown on the screen.
The vibration that the player feels when using the weapon also changes according to the
type of weapon used.
1. Cluster shot
This weapon launches s multiple number of small missiles in each shot.
When the trigger is held in pulled position, the weapon continues firing but the
shooting interval is longer than that of the machine gun.
The sight mark on screen changes when the weapon cannot be used.
In the same way as for the machine gun, the pedal is used to reload and activate the
defense mode.
2. Rocket launcher
This weapon launches a powerful rocket shot one by one.
When the trigger is held in pulled position, the weapon continues launching rockets
but the shooting interval is longer than that of the machine gun.
The sight mark on screen changes when the weapon cannot be used.
In the same way as for the machine gun, the pedal is used to reload and activate the
defense mode.
3. Sniper rifle
This weapon is used to take one shot at a time by viewing a zoomed target image.
Unlike the machine gun, the trigger must be pulled to shoot each shot.
It take a while before the rifle becomes ready to fire again. The sight mark on screen
changes when the weapon cannot be used.
Striking an enemy’s head (head shoot) finishes the enemy with one shot.
Since the ammunition in unlimited, there is no need to reload the rifle. The pedal is
used to activate the defense mode.
4. Satellite beam gun
The satellite beam gun can be used after the gauge reaches a certain level.
The gauge level increases when the trigger is held pulled while an enemy mark
remains within the sight.
In the same way as for the machine gun, the pedal is used to reload and activate the
defense mode.
(5) Others
1. Demo scenes inserted between game scenes can be skipped by aiming the Gun
Assy toward the screen and pulling the trigger.
2. The “Continue” counting advances quickly when the trigger of the Gun Assy on the
participating side is pulled.
