(4) Replacing the light receiving unit - To be conducted by a technician only -
Be sure to turn off the power switch before disconnecting the connector of the light
receiving unit. If the connector is disconnected while the power is ON, damage will
occur in the receiving unit.
The light receiving unit can be easily damaged by static electricity. If the light
receiving unit is handled by a person charged with static electricity, parts in the
light receiving unit can become damaged.Before touching the light receiving unit,
be sure to remove static electricity from you body by touching a grounded metal.
Never disassemble the light receiving unit. Do not touch the knob on the light
receiving unit. Disassembling the unit or touching the knob can result in a
malfunction.
Check the direction and shape of the connector carefully in order to prevent damage
to electrical circuits due to incorrect connector connection.
To protect the service staff and other people from electric shock, accident and
injury and to prevent damage to the electric circuitry of the machine, be sure
to turn off the power switch before initiating the described task.
Turn off the power switch.
Dismount gun cover AR. (See P. 100 “8-3-4 (3) Replacing gun cover A.”)
Detach the light receiving unit from the grooves on the gun body, disconnect the
connector, and dismount the light receiving unit.
After replacing the light receiving unit, be sure to adjust the Gun Assy aim. (See P.
51 "7-4-4 (b) GUN INITIALIZE 1P-2P (Gun Assy aim setting 1P-2P).")
