Using the Elemental Composition Calculator

Procedure

To determine elemental composition:

Display the spectrum containing the peak of interest.

Click the Spectrum window to activate it.

From the Applications menu, select Elemental
Composition.

The Elemental Composition Calculator dialog box
(Figure 6-1) is displayed.
