5. When the countdown is complete, the display will change
to the one shown in Figure 39, then to Figure 40.

6. Press the START / STOP button to start the heater unit.
Fault: Heater unit has overheated:
1. The heater unit will automatically shut down and the con-
trol module will display the fault similar to the one shown
in Figure 36.
2. Determine the reason that heater unit has overheated.
Repair the problem.
3. Reset the heater unit. Unscrew the plastic cover (A,
Figure 41) protecting the reset button on the back of the
heater unit. Press and hold the reset button for about 5
seconds. Re-install the protective cover.

Fault: Main fan circuit breaker has tripped:
1. The heater unit will automatically shut down and the con-
trol module will display the fault similar to the one shown
in Figure 36.
2. Determine the reason that main fan circuit breaker has
tripped. Repair the problem.
3. Reset the main fan circuit breaker. Locate and press the
circuit breaker reset button at the bottom of the control
module (A, Figure 42).

Using The Smoke Tester
The heater trailer may be equipped with an optional smoke
tester. The smoke tester is intended to be used to check the
amount of soot in the heater unit exhaust gasses. This can
indicate the level of efficiency achieved in the combustion
chamber.
