Set the jitter amplitude to 0 UI for both Sinusoidal jitter and Periodic
jitter.
If any one of the three above checkboxes is not enabled, then the
following screen will appear.
Clicking on 'ok' auto aligns the error detector.
The device can now be tested without clock loss.
N O T E
When SSC is enabled the measurement does not use SJ. The maximum available
jitter amplitude is reduced for the jitter tolerance measurement.
Running the Test
Once you have specified the
Frequency
,
BER
, and
Search
criteria, press
the
Start
button to run the test.
The bar in the lower right-hand corner of the screen shows the progress.
