Diagram 9. Connections of the De-Emphasis Signal Converter
The Data Output of the Pattern Generator is connected to the Input of
the N4916A. The unused output of the Pattern Generator has to be
terminated with 50 Ohm.
The N4916A provides a differential signal to the DUT.
The N4916A is controlled by the Serial BERT via a USB cable connected
to ports at the rear of the instruments.
