VP - 8.1 Needle Sensors Check/Adjustment
Purpose: Perform this procedure to verify and adjust Aspiration Needle Home and Limit Position.
1. Remove Racks and any loose items under Needle(s).
2. Put Sample Loader in Manual Mode.
a. Press and Hold MAN and START.
b. Turn Power ON, hold keys down until BEEPING stops.
3. Set BAR (1/0) Switch to 1.
4. Verify Aspiration Needle is free in Wash Block.
5. Ensure Needle(s) are pushed all the way DOWN to the collar ring and clamp is tight ( Figure
3-64 ).
6. Ensure the hole in needle is facing in the proper direction ( Figure 3-65, Page-3-123 ).
