7. Insert Service Disk into Data Station floppy disk drive.

8. Turn Sample Loader and Data Station power ON.

9. At A:> prompt, type VBCDIAG and press [ENTER].

10.Data Station displays:

CAUTION:If the message “PORT 1: UNABLE TO GO ONLINE ... COMM STATUS” displays,

11.Change Baud Rate to 1200.

a. Press [F3] and wait 20 seconds.

b. Verify 1200 Baud Rate is displayed.

c. To keep existing Barcode settings, continue with Step 12.

d. To change Barcode settings to default values, press [F3] again.

System beeps.

12.Edit Barcode parameters.

NOTE:System responds slowly. Observe screen while entering  commands and confirm 

acceptance by system.
