5. Handle and Incremental Operation
The handle mode/incremental mode are determined by the parameter NO.0006. (Select handle / incremental
mode). Handle mode is effective when the parameter is set to 1, incremental mode is effective when the parameter
is set to 0.
The minimum distance the tool moves is determined by parameter NO.1122 (the minimum distance the tool
moves in the handle/incremental mode (mm)). The minimum distance the tool moves is 0.001mm by default.
5.1 Handle Feed
5.1.1 Select the Amount of Movement.
Set parameter NO.0006 (select handle/incremental mode) to 1; press function key [INC/HAN] to select
handle mode. Feedrate of handle/incremental mode can be changed by press function key[X1], [X10], [X100].The
change order is X1, X10, X100.The feedrate of handle/incremental mode is shown in interface of [POS] interface.
5.1.2 Select Axis and Move Direction
In handle mode, press key [+X] or [-X] select X axis, press key [+Z] or [-Z] select Z axis.
Control the move direction of the selected axis by change the direction of manual handle rotates. Check the
instruction of machine tool or handwheel for Details.
Generally, axis moves along positive direction when rotate the handwheel clockwise, axis moves along
negative direction when rotate the handwheel counterclockwise.
CAUTION:
Rotate the handwheel at a rate of five rotations per second or lower, if the handwheel is rotated at a rate
higher than five rotations per second, the tool moves may not match the graduations on the handwheel.
5.2 Incremental Feed
Set parameter NO.1118 to 0; press function key [HNDL] select incremental mode.
Press function key [X1], [X10], [X100] change the feedrate of handwheel. The feedrate of
handle/incremental mode is shown in interface of [POS]. Each time a switch is pressed, tool moves one step in the
direction specified by the switch.
In the case of high rate, avoid pressing key quickly, or the move distance of axis may not match the
theoretical value.
6. Automatic Operation
6.1 Types of Automatic Operation
6.1.1 Automatic Operation/Memory Operation
Step 1: Store The program in the memory (system or U disk);
Step 2: Select a program from the registered programs.
Scanning method: Press direction key and page key move the cursor to select the program.
Searching method: Input a program number, press soft key [SRH] to search the program;
Step 3: Press key [MEM] to select automatic operation.
Step 4: Press soft key [READ] load memory program.
Step 5: Press key [SYCLE START], run the program.
CAUTION:
The 2, 3, 4 steps above ,the corresponding program can be loaded by entering program number (such as
O1234) in [PROG] interface and press MDI function key [INSERT] or [↓] (direction key).
6.1.2MDI Operation
A program section can be created in the same format as normal programs and executed from the MDI panel.
