Red represents the projection of the Test grid. Green represents the scanned image of the test
slide. Using the functions within the macro allows to shift the scanned image such that is
matches the projection.

•

Stop scanning, chose the other scanner, set up a corresponding configuration in reflection and repeat
the adjustment of the scanned image to the projected Test grid in the image window.

•

When both images match the Test grid projection the scan fields also match each other.

4.8.4.2

Distance Macro - Distance.lvb

This macro permits measurement of the distance of a line created in the scan image.

•

Click on the

Distance

button in the

Macro

subordinate toolbar.

−

An XY scanning image of the specimen is recorded and displayed. At the same time, the

Mouse

position test

window appears on the screen.

•

Then draw a line over the distance to be measured by clicking and holding down the mouse button.
The click of the mouse sets the starting point, releasing the mouse sets the end point of the line.

−

After release of the mouse button, the length of the line in the scanning image is displayed (in µm).

−

Any required number of lines can be defined in the image. The previous line is deleted.

•

A click on the

Exit

button in the

Mouse position test

window will end the macro.
