Excitation

panel

•

In the

Excitation

panel you can select other

lasers and vary laser intensities (in the same way
as in the

Laser Control

or

Configuration

Control

window) and you can program the

AOTF for different laser lines.

If more than 8 laser lines are available the AOTF
can be programmed for various lines. By clicking
on the

Laserline

button the

Wavelength Switch

Control

window opens.

•

Select the required laser lines in the selection
boxes and confirm the selection with a click on

Store

.

•

Click on the

Close

button to close the

Wave-

length Switch Control

window.

All parameters under Channels can be
varied online.

Acquisition of a frame

Once you have set up your parameter as defined in the above section, you can acquire a frame image of
your specimen.

•

Click on the

Single

button in the

Scan Control

window. The system will automatically start the
acquisition of a frame. The individual channels
and the overlay image can be viewed by
changing to the

Split xy

mode. This button is

located on the right-hand side of the

Image

Display

window.

The following scan image shows the result with
two defined tracks plus the

Ratio

channel and the

overlay (see Fig. 4-60). See the appropriate

Channel Settings

panel in the

Scan Control

window (Fig. 4-59).

A similar array of images is displayed

when choosing Online Fingerprinting
Mode with five reference spectra used for
online unmixing and one ratio channel
being defined.

In case the

Lambda

Mode

has been chosen in the

Configuration Control

window, the following scan

image shows the result of the Lambda Stack.
