4.8.4 Sample

Macros

The LSM 5 software package includes e. g. the

Distance

,

Profile

,

Spot

,

Center

and

Multiple Time

Series

sample macros.

They can be easily executed by clicking on the relevant button in the

Macros

subordinate toolbar.

During the execution of a macro, the

Stop Macros

window is always displayed on the screen. This

enables a macro to be stopped any time by pressing the

Stop

button.

The functions of the sample macros are explained below.

4.8.4.1 ScanfieldTransform

Macro

The Macro enables to match the scan fields of the LSM 510 or LSM 510 META with the LSM DuoScan.
The procedure is necessary to make sure that the LSM DuoScan can also be used for bleaching, activation
or uncaging of a selected ROI. If the scan fields do not match the manipulation will not be performed
within the selected ROI but with some offset to its position when using the LSM DuoScan. A specific slide
(#1105-820) is provided with the system to perform the scan field match.

Function Description

The checkboxes

LSM

DuoScan

allow to chose which scanner is used for scan field adjustment.

Offset X

and

Offset Y

shift the image in X and y direction

Amplitude

adjusted the amplitude of the X scanner.

−

Rotation

rotates the scan field

−

If the

Test grid

checkbox is ticked a test grid is projected into the top most image window.
