5.7 Basic function groups
In the following chapters, the UT functions are de-
scribed according to their order in the respective func-
tion group, or in the context of certain tasks, for example
calibration.
Some functions are included in several function groups
for reasons of more efficient operation. It does not mat-
ter in which function group you operate these functions.
The available function groups and functions depend on
the panels (see page 81) set up in the loaded applica-
tion (see page 69).

The Overview of basic UT Functions
shows the basic ultrasonic functions in al-
phabetical order with assignment to the vari-
ous function groups (see page 288).
