Rectify
You can use this function to select the rectification mode
of the echo pulses according to your application.
RF (radio frequency)
There is no rectification. Both positive and negative
wave portions are displayed with true amplitude.
Full Wave
All half-waves are displayed above the base line on the
screen.
Positive HW / Negative HW
Only the selected half-waves are displayed above the
base line on the screen.
Filter
This function is named as Frequency in Krautkrämer
legacy products. You can optimize the signal by setting
a frequency filter until a clear echo is visible. Filter and
damping influence each other. Therefore you need to try
all possible combinations to achieve an optimal result.
In addition to the filter values available for selection, you
can set your own filter range by specifying the upper and
lower cutoff frequencies.
To do this, first select the setting Adjustable . Then two
further settings Low Freq and Upper Freq are dis-
played, with which you can set the cut-off frequencies.
Low Freq
The function Low Freq is only visible if the setting
Adjustable is selected in the Filter function.
Set the low cutoff frequency for the filter range here.
Frequencies below this cutoff frequency are blocked.
