3  Initial start-up

USM 100 PC Live

Krautkrämer USM 100

– Tap 

START

 to start the USM 100 Server, which con-

nects to the software. 

After starting the server, operation on the instrument it-
self is no longer possible, not even with the keys. Excep-
tions are the three buttons at the top right 

STOP

, 

START

 and 

Autostart

 (symbol). 

The IP address of the USM 100, which you must enter 
in the software 

USM 100 PC

, is displayed below the but-

tons. 

You can stop the server at any time (see page 62). Then 
operation on the instrument is possible again, but oper-
ation with the software 

USM 100 PC

 is no longer possi-

ble.

Note

You can activate the automatic start of the 
USM 100 Server when the instrument is 
started, either with the 

Autostart

 icon (far 

right) or with the corresponding function in 
the settings (see page 110).
