Preparing the RAID Array 310 for Operation

Preparing the RAID Array 310 for operation involves the following procedures:

1. Mounting the base as described in Section 1.5.

2. Mounting the door.

3. Installing the disk Storage Building Blocks (SBB's).

4. Connecting the power, SCSI bus, and CLI serial cables.

5. Configuring the RAID Array 310.

6. Charging the controller cache battery.

7. Checking the subsystem for proper operation.
