6-25. Replacement of the Component Parts of the Threading Link Block

Tools

• FWD back tension measuring cassette tape :J-6323-190-A

• Stop washer fastening tool

:J-6323-530-A

• Torque screwdriver bit (for M1.4)

:J-6325-110-A

• Torque screwdriver (for 3kgf)

• Cleaning cloth

Removal

1. SE-233 board removal

Remove the two screws and the SE-233 board.

2. Unthread guide plate removal

Remove the two screws and the unthread guide

plate.

3. Disconnection brush assembly

connector

Disconnect the connector on the brush assembly

board.

4. Drum assembly removal

(1) Remove the three screws of the drum assem-

bly.

(2) Life just above the drum assembly and

disconnect the three connectors(CN1,CN2

and CN3) on the lower board of the drum.

When removing the drum, take care not to

damage the CTL head, CUE/TC head and the

peripheral tape guides.

5. S arm assembly removal

Remove the S arm assembly.

(Refer to section 6-23. “S arm assembly replacement”)

6. T drawing arm assembly removal

Remove the T drawing arm assembly.

(Refer to section 6-24. “T link and T drawing arm

assembly replacement”)
