6-21. S Reel Motor Assembly Replacement

(5) Put a thickness gauge (4 mm thick) between

the motor pulley and brake base and loosen

the setscrew.

(6) Pull out the thickness gauge.

(7) Reconfirm that the clearance satisfies the

specification.

4. Open the back side of the chassis.

(1) Remove the bottom plate.

(Refer to section 1-5.)

(2) Open the DPR-62 and SST-3 boards.

(Refer to section 8-2.)

(3) Remove the rubber ring attached to the boss

in the center of the chassis, then remove the

insulating plate.

(4) Remove the driving belt left in step 2).

5. S reel motor assy installation

(1) Clean the following portion with cleaning

cloth moistened with cleaning liquid.

• Motor pulley of S reel motor

• Portion where the brake arm touches the

belt

(2) Install the S reel motor assy from the top of

the chassis with two screws.
