Safety instructions 

 

 

WARNING 

Health hazard resulting from contact with toxic, aggressive or corrosive gases 
When opening parts wetted by the sample gas, residues of harmful gases could be 

released. 

•

 

Carry out decontamination before opening parts wetted by the sample gas: 

–

 

Remove gaseous residues by purging all parts wetted by the sample gas for at least 

two hours with dry nitrogen 

–

 

Remove liquid and/or solid residues by carrying out decontamination in accordance 

with the requirements resulting from such contamination. If necessary, contact the 

Siemens servicing department. 

If the enclosure has also come into contact with harmful gases during the application, it 

must also be decontaminated before carrying out maintenance or repair measures. 

•

 

Carry out decontamination of the enclosure in accordance with the requirements 

resulting from the type of contamination. Also observe all appropriate cleaning 

information.
