– The parameter values for the positive range of v_out_a (OUT1_POS, OUT2_POS, 

OUT3_POS) must be greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to P261.

– The parameter values for the negative range of v_out_a (OUT1_NEG, OUT2_NEG, 

OUT3_NEG) must be less than or equal to 0 and greater than or equal to P261.

(The same applies to cylinders b, c, and d.)

7. Checking the settings in the SIMOCRANE CeCOMM-Trace diagnostic program

The modified velocity signal can be checked via signals "v_out_abcd" and 

"v_out_nmod_ABCD".

9.5.5

Parameterization of the central positions of the cylinders

Via the mid-position of the cylinders (P245-P248) and the maximum deviation of the cylinders 

P249, you define the permissible travel range for the TLS movement and functions (example 

cylinder A: [P245-P249,P245+P249]).
1. Enter the central positions in parameters P245 to P248.
2. Set the parameters for the zero positions (P250 to P253) initial to the same values as P245 

to P248. 

These parameters will subsequently automatically be assigned by the "Save zero positions" 

function.

3. Set the parameter P249 such that the interval [P245-P249,P245+P249], etc. matches the 

valid travel ranges of the cylinders.

4. Set the maximum distance of a cylinder from the zero position via parameter 260.

Relationship between the parameters

The zero position must be such that the interval [P250-P260,P250+P260] is a subset of the 

above interval. If that is not the case for the actual position on saving the zero positions via the 

"SAVE_ZERO" control bit, error E78 will be set. 
That means that values for P260 that approximate the value of P249 have a small range for 

saving the zero positions. Otherwise, smaller values for P260 result in a smaller travel range 

with the TLS modes. A suitable compromise must therefore be found for the setting of P260.
